Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 10, 2026
1. Who we are
Unbeliev ("we", "us") operates the website unbeliev.com and associated social-media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn) where we publish curated short-form videos about verified weird-news stories aggregated from public sources. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you visit unbeliev.com.
2. Data we collect
Unbeliev does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide personal information to view our content. We collect the minimum necessary to operate the site:
- Server logs: IP address, browser user-agent, timestamp, and requested URL. Retained for 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes, then automatically deleted.
- Cookies: we do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We may use a session cookie strictly required for the site to function.
We do not collect data about your interactions on third-party social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) — those platforms have their own privacy policies that apply.
3. How we use it
The limited data above is used solely to:
- Operate and maintain the website.
- Detect and prevent abuse (DDoS, scraping, fraud).
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-party services
Our videos are distributed via TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other social-media platforms via their official APIs. When you watch or interact with our content on those platforms, the respective platform's privacy policy applies:
5. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of that data.
- Object to or restrict our processing of it.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in France: the CNIL).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@unbeliev.com.
6. Children
Unbeliev is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect server data, including HTTPS for all communications, access controls on our infrastructure, and regular security audits.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page along with an updated "Last updated" date.
